The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is hiring experienced professionals for senior roles in its Risk Management and Collections departments based in Karachi. The positions are critical for ensuring compliance, managing risks, and enhancing operational excellence to support the Bank’s objective of becoming a future-fit, agile, and sustainable institution.
Position 1: Wing Head – HR Administration & Coordination Wing (VP/SVP)
- Qualification: Graduation or equivalent (preferably in Business, Banking, Accounting, or Finance) from a local or international university recognized by HEC. Candidates with CA/ACCA/CFA will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in financial institutions, including 3 years in Regulatory Compliance, Internal Audit, Credit Risk, or Corporate/Commercial business.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all divisions within the Risk Management Group for compliance and audit.
- Manage HR and administrative tasks related to recruitment, training, and succession planning.
- Maintain strong coordination with regulators and ensure timely submission of audit evidence.
- Develop and manage performance indicators and ensure compliance with SBP inspection teams.
Position 2: Unit Head – Collections & Support (AVP/VP)
- Qualification: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of banking experience, including 5 years in credit collections (Retail, SME, or Agri Financing).
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement collection strategies aligned with business goals.
- Minimize delinquency ratios and ensure loss prevention.
- Coordinate with external agencies and ensure compliance with SBP regulations.
- Provide training programs to collection staff and ensure portfolio monitoring.
